Abstract

Macroorganisms have been found from the Bayanshiree Formation (Upper Cretaceous) in Shiluut uul locality (South-East Mongolia). Were identified fourteen species of mollusca- Pseudohyria turistschewi, P. cardiformis, P. triangularis, P. tuberculata, P. janshini, P. arida, P. marginodentata, P. hongilica, P. unegetensis, Lanceolaria angustata, Sainshandiа unegetensis, S. bainshirensis, S. robusta, Plicatotrigonioides gobiensis. Ecology: The mollusks are large, the species diversity is enormous, perhaps this is due to the mineralized and warm water environment.
